Sciatica is an ailment or condition concerning the deterioration of back bone which causes excruciating pain. • A pain that vary from mild to excruciating pain resulting to uneasiness. This pain is radiating from the lower back down to the buttocks and calf.

Weak muscles and frequent numbness

• Having tingling feeling or a pin and needles feeling around the feet.

To prevent the occurrence of this condition better start the following preventive measures suggested here:

• Regular Exercise – do exercise that aims in strengthening the abdominal muscles and lower back.

• Always be in right posture – when sitting ensure that the chair supports your hips and the natural curve of the lower spine.

• Feet should lie level on the floor and your arms should respite comfortably if you’re working on computer.

• If you have so much work on the computer ensure to have a break by taking a little walk and stretching of the back and legs.

• If you drive frequently make sure that knees and hips are in level and do not over reach the pedal.

• Pass up from long periods of bending and standing.

• In sleeping make sure that you’re using comfortable pillow and mattress that will support your neck and back bones.

• Most importantly, take calcium rich food or drinks to strengthen your bone. Likewise have healthy diet.

Sciatica or spine deterioration is a condition that should not be frightened but also it should not be ignored. Though it has cure and can be prevented still attention to the said condition is necessary to have a better living and to stay away from the excruciating pain it will bring in.
